hello! so i know how i said i would do a full week of blogmas for christmas, but that just didn't happen for chirstmas eve and christmas day. whoops! i guess i didn't realize how busy i would be. anyways, i hope you all had an amazing christmas. while christmas definitely gets most of the hype this time of the year, you can't foregt about new years. it's one of the few days in the year where wearing too much sparkle isn't a problem, and everything gets reset so you can have a fresh start on all you want to accomplish in the new year. new year's eve is bound to be a fun night wheter you're going out or spending the evening in. so today i want to share something fun you can do on new year's eve to add even more sparkle to your night, taking cool pics with sparklers! i mean, you could totally do this any time of the year, but i think it would be super cute to do for new years.

hello; i hope you all had an amazing weekend! i had a lovely weekend spent with family visiting from nor cal, which is always nice. :) today i want to share a relatively simple diy here on the blog. recently i've been seeing lots of super cute cake stands like this or even centerpieces like this and thought that with the right tools, i could easily make one myself. so i did! here's how to do it.
hello! one of the girls in my suite is a crazy awesome embroider. she's super talented and has made so many beautiful things. this past weekend keeley, another suite mate, asked her if she could teach her how so she could embroider a bunch of shirts. i was watching and got really inspired to start embroidering myself. so this weekend we started planning the different things we could embroider, and i was really inspired by all the possible color combinations. for this week's blog post i want to share a site that has a great beginners guide to embroidering, and some of my fave color combos that you could totally start using for your embroidering adventures!
christmas is next week! ahhhhh! one of my favorite parts of the holiday season is finding everyone i love the perfect gift. it gives me such a great feeling when they open their gift and their face lights up. however for me, equally as important as the treat inside is how it's wrapped. presentation is everything, and every year i love taking my time wrapping each gift perfectly. that's why today i'm sharing a little gift wrapping diy with you guys! if you're the type of person that wants to take your gift wrapping a step above store bought wrapping paper, then use this diy to impress everyone on your list!
