guys, it's almost halloween! i'm so ready for a candy overload and fun with my friends, although i still haven't decided what to dress up as... anyways, the best part of any holiday is decorating and getting all festive about everything. i bought this little pumpkin a few weeks ago, but i just realized yesterday that he actually has a name designated to it by a little sticker on the bottom: casper (so cute right?!) so, i decided casper needed a little more flair to him. i was going to go with the everyday glitter pumpkin, but i decided why not try something new? so, if you are looking for a super easy way to get into the halloween spirt, grab a pumpkin and get ready to marbleize it into a work of art. i love how unique mine turned out. there are so many color combinations you can do, so feel free to get really creative!

hello! it's been just about a month since i've started college, so i decided it's time to give you guys a room tour. it's true dorms aren't exactly glamorous, but i tried my best to spruce my space up. it really makes it feel more like home when you design the space around you the way you like it. also... my halloween decor is up! i'm so happy for fall! though i have to say, i do wish it would start feeling more like fall here in san diego.
the magical month of fashion weeks has come to an end, but i could not let them leave too easily. we've enjoyed a month of runway magic where we drool over high couture fashion; but needless to say the streets of new york, london, milan, and paris were teeming with tasteful looks also. so while the looks of runways are probably out of reach for most of us, it's actually quite easy to replicate a street style look that won't break the bank. so today i'm going to show you how you can replicate this chic look from new york fashion week, with my own personal twist!
as some of you may know, i moved out a little less than three weeks ago. i'm now attending the university of california san diego, and officially a college student! i know this post seems a little late, but believe me, the last few weeks have been a little busy. nevertheless, moving away to college is a HUGE life event, so a blog post was absolutely necessary. i just wanted to share what the experience was like, and how i've been transitioning.
