it seems like forever ago that i did my very first blog post; i just feel like i have personally come a long way with my blog since that day. for that i am proud of myself, but i know i still have plenty of room to grow. that being said, i have learned a thing or two from creating my own blog by myself and blogging for a year, and i want to share some of my experiences for any of you who may just be curious or are maybe toying with the idea of starting your own blog. either way, here are some of the things i would say were pretty important.
hi! today is a special day, because exactly a year ago i posted my first blog post onto vogue intuition. well, kind of. VI turned one last month, in august, but that was when i was in berlin and wasn't posting to the blog. so instead i'm celebrating a month later!

hello! today marks the beginning of a five part series about my five week study abroad in berlin! i am super excited to share it all with you guys. there may be some breaks in between, which is probably best for everyone because i think five back to back posts about berlin would be kind of tiring...
anyways, today i wanted to share my first week in berlin. most of the week was spent adjusting, getting used to the neighborhood we were staying in, and getting accustomed to using the u-bahn/s-bahn (the subway system). it was tons of fun just getting to know berlin, so here's some things we did! hola! i'm back with another travel post, as i promised. after exploring prague i took a short plane ride to beautiful barcelona, spain. barcelona is hands down amazing and definitely at the top of my list of favorite cities in the world. it is like no other city i've visited in europe. it's blistering heat, palm trees, and beaches did slightly remind me of SoCal however... i spent four days in barcelona, and was able to see practically everything, and even did a day trip to a small town tucked away in the spanish countryside. even through the heat and aching feet, it was definitely a trip to remember.
hi!!! it's been so long since i've posted to the blog! i'm super excited to be back though; it's been too long. as you may know, my prolonged absence was due to the fact that i was in europe basically from the time of my last blog post until now... aka a looonngg time. it was super fun though and now that i'm back i'm excited to share it all on here. so get ready for a streak of travel posts, because i got a lot to share. you may just be sick of europe by the time it's all over, if that's possible. ;)
today i'm starting out with the beautiful city of prague in the czech republic. i flew into berlin and took a beautiful (but long) train ride to prague. so just a quick side note, if you happen to be in berlin and want to go to prague, i highly recommend taking the train. it's true that it will take longer than say if you were flying, but the views on the way are amazing. almost as amazing as the beautiful sights of prague... |
