Hello All! I hope your week is off to a great start. Shawndiz was kind enough to invite me to write a guest post for her blog and today I'm sharing a recipe for overnight oats. I first discovered overnight oats about a year ago and they have quickly become one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast because they are delicious and very easy to make. I also like that it's easy to experiment with different ingredients and proportions. Although the possibilities are endless, today I'm sharing one of my favorite overnight oats combinations: Berry, Almond and Chocolate Overnight Oats Ingredients 3/4 cup of dried oats 1/2-3/4 cup of mixed berries (I used blueberries, blackberries and raspberries) A handful of sliced almonds A handful of chocolate chips 1/2 cup to 3/4 cups of almond milk 1 Tbsp of agave syrup (optional) To prepare this overnight oats recipe, simply pour all the dry ingredients into a half-pint mason jar, top off the jar with almond milk and agave syrup, and then store the mixture in the fridge overnight. Then simply grab the mason jar from the fridge on your way out the door in the morning. I really wasn't kidding when I said this is an easy breakfast to prepare! You can enjoy overnight oats warm or at room temperature, but I like to eat this particular recipe when it's cold. You don't want the berries to get too pruny by popping them in the microwave. What are your favorite breakfast recipes? Again, I'm very thankful that Shawndiz was kind enough to invite me to share this post with you and I hope that you enjoy this recipe! xoxo, Helen P.S., you can follow my blog on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER, PINTEREST, BLOGLOVIN This post originally appeared on SWEET HELEN GRACE
who said water had to be boring? not me for sure! i love adding things to my water everyday, and today i bring you a lovely combination of grapefruit, mint, and rose that you can add to your water to make it pop. there are so many fruits, vegetables, etc. that you can add to your water; so feel free to experiment! this is just one of my personal faves i conjured up. i really like how the ingredients i used gave it a very unique taste.
who doesn't like strawberries? i can't think of a single person. strawberries are great because of their dual sweet and sour taste. when strawberries are paired with something else sweet, like chocolate, they become irresistible. so today i paired strawberries with cream and ice cream in the ultimate sweet strawberry treat.
