hi! as you all know fourth of july is next week. for me the fourth has always been a fun summer holiday spent by the pool eating good food and soaking in the sun, so i'm always looking forward to it during summer break. as i said, good food has always been a part of the fun, so i wanted to share some recipes and inspiration for you to have your very own festive fourth. enjoy!
hello! i hope you're all surviving the heat wave. i spent yesterday afternoon by the pool, which really helped. today i'm sharing another fun summery recipe that is also super easy. what says summer more than cool drinks in pretty glasses and garnished with fresh flowers? i can't think of anything else... these mocktails are nonalcoholic, because i'm assuming most of you are under 21. ;) if you do want to make them alcoholic, feel free to modify them as you wish. i just thought that these would be super fun to make and sip by the pool with some friends as you enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. have fun with it! here's the recipe.
hello! i don't know about where you live but here in so cal the next few days are supposed to be super hot. i technically live in a desert, which means my city will get especially hot. i think at one point it's supposed to be 108 degrees. when it's that hot all i want to do is be in the pool and eat ice-cream, so i thought i'd share a really easy popsicle recipe that will definitely come in handy when you're trying to cool off at any point during the summer. i wanted to do something really fresh and summery, so i went with a citrus flavored theme. keep reading to find out how to make these treats!
it's february, which means valentines day is right around the corner. whether you are celebrating the day with your love or your best friend, i think it's always nice to do something fun and sweet on valentines day. so, what's a better thing to do than go out for a sweet treat?! i think it's a really fun and easy way to celebrate the day. to help you guys out, i've gathered a list of some of the best dessert spots in san diego. enjoy!
happy new year everyone! i hope all of you have a great new year and accomplish all you set out to do. :) on new years eve i like throwing a mini party for my family and i, and i did so this year too. it's always lots of fun, and i love cooking for them and just having a great time. this year i made drinks, apps, and desert; and i want to share the recipes with you guys! i just think they're great recipes to use at your parties throughout the year to come!
